4-wheeled motorised ATV quad bike

Recall published
Product title
4-wheeled motorised ATV quad bike
Product description
The recall concerns 2004, 2005 and 2006 model year vehicles.
The product poses a risk of fire because certain vehicles were assembled with Electronic Control Modules (ECMs) that may contain a defective fan Field Effect Transistor (FET). The fan FET is an electrical component involved with the ATV’s cooling fan function. In most instances when the fan FET fails, the vehicle battery will drain and the vehicle will not start. In some instances, the defective fan FET can cause the ECM to fail and then overheat. If this were to occur, excessive heat could occur inside the ECM which could, in infrequent circumstances, progress to fire.
